A professional organizer helps individuals or businesses organize their physical space, digital space, time, and tasks. I use various techniques and tools to help clients create systems and processes that improve their productivity, reduce clutter, and simplify their lives so they have more time and energy to do what they want.
My services include decluttering, creating organizational systems, time management, productivity coaching, space planning, and storage solutions. I can also provide guidance on how to maintain the systems we put in place to ensure long-term success.

I work on a wide variety of projects, depending on the needs and goals of my clients. My overarching goal is to help clients create more functional, efficient, and enjoyable living and working spaces. Some examples of the types of projects I work on are:
• Decluttering and organizing: I help clients sort through their possessions, declutter, and create systems to organize and store their belongings. This could be a garage, basement, bedroom, playroom, kitchen, closet, pantry, or any other space in a home or office.
• Time management and productivity: I help clients develop systems for prioritizing tasks, managing email and other forms of communication, and scheduling work and personal activities.
• Moving and relocation: I manage as much or as little of a move as the client wants. I can coordinate the entire move from getting quotes from moving companies, to packing, unpacking, and arranging a client’s possessions in the new space or just a part of the moving process.
• Home office organization: With more people working from home, home office organization has become an increasingly important area of focus for me. I help clients create efficient and effective workspaces, manage paperwork and documents, and develop routines for working from home.
• Digital organizing: I help clients organize their digital lives which involves managing email and other digital communication, organizing files and documents, and developing systems for backing up and protecting data. I also create home inventories and essential document files that are vital in an emergency.
• Life transitions: I assist clients who are going through major life transitions so they can navigate these changes and develop strategies for moving forward.

The work I do varies depending on the client's specific needs and goals, but I generally follow a similar structure. The typical steps involved are:
• Initial consultation: This typically takes place over the phone and is free. This is an opportunity for us to start to get to know each other. I begin to assess your needs and goals, and develop an initial plan of action.
• Assessment and planning: After the initial consultation, I conduct a more detailed assessment of the space and your organizing needs. This will involve a walkthrough of the space and a deeper definition of your goals and needs. Based on this assessment, I develop a customized plan that outlines the steps needed to achieve your goals.
• Implementation: Once the plan has been developed, I work with you to implement the plan. I work closely with you to ensure that the plan is executed in a way that meets your specific needs and preferences.
• Follow-up and maintenance: After the work has been completed, I will provide follow-up support to help you maintain your new system. If you would like this can involve regular check-ins, ongoing coaching and support, or additional organizing sessions.
I work closely with you to ensure that your needs are being met and that you feel supported and empowered. I provide education and guidance that you can use in the future. Working with a professional organizer can be a transformative experience that helps you create a more functional, efficient, and enjoyable living space.

The amount of time it will take to complete a project depends on a variety of factors, such as the size of the project and your specific goals. In general, a small project such as organizing a closet or a small office can take a few hours, while larger projects such as a whole-home organization or a relocation may take several days or weeks. I will discuss your specific needs and goals during the initial free consultation to get a better idea of the timeline and what is realistic for your project. Once the scope and goals of the project are established we will work together to create a plan that fits your schedule.

I take confidentiality and privacy very seriously. The work that we do together will be kept private so that you can feel safe sharing your physical space, thoughts, and feelings. As an educator for over twenty years I prioritized and respected the privacy of students and families. I brought this value with me when I became a professional organizer and continue to have a strict client confidentiality policy. I follow NAPO’s Code of Ethics which states:
• I will keep confidential all client information, both business and personal, including that which may be revealed by other professional organizers and productivity consultants.
• I will use proprietary client information only with the client's permission.
• I will keep client information confidential and not use it to benefit myself or my firm, or reveal this information to others.

It is not my job to force you to get rid of belongings or make decisions that you are uncomfortable with. My role is to support and guide you in creating a more functional and organized living space that aligns with your needs and goals. I will work with you so that you can understand why items are important to you and explore how they can be integrated into your organizing plan. For example, if you are attached to sentimental items or have collections you are passionate about, I can find ways to display and organize those items in a way that makes sense for your space and lifestyle. At the same time, it is important to identify items that are no longer serving a purpose in your life or are creating unnecessary clutter. We can work together to sort through these items and decide which ones can be donated, sold, or discarded. Ultimately, the decision about what to keep and what to let go of is up to you. My job is to support and guide you in creating a space that aligns with your goals and needs, while also respecting your personal preferences and boundaries.
